I've got a problem with my wipers scratching my windshield! I did a search and some recommended to use Anco 24". What are you guys using right now? I bough some Bosh 24" but they do not work properly because they are missing a groove for the wiper arm.
Well I don't think I can help you with your first question, but to answer your second one, Rain-x is a liquid that you apply on your windshield. I've used it before and it works great! When water hits the glass, it slides right off. You rarely have to use your wipers, if at all. I would reccomend using this until you find a solution to your wiper blade problem.
Once or twice a week *depending on how much I drive the car*, I pull my wiper arms up and clean the rubber part with a wet paper towel. You would be amazed on the dirt that comes off of them after about a weeks time.
I love rain-x! I recommend it to everyone that has never tried it.
As long as you are driving your car above 30mph, you really don't need to have the wipers on. The rain just slides off the windshield.
My Rain-X application:
I spray all of the windows with it, and take a soft paper towel to them to rub it in. Then I use a garden hose to spray the whole car down, and shammy it. When Rain-X is applied, it smears the windows heavily. Hosing the windows off and shammying them will take care of any smears ;)
Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
