  • temp gauge and no heat

Friday was the first day that i have really gotten on my firechicken since i recently replaced the clutch. But i was racing a friend in his mustang(i smashed him ) but after that i noticed the "check gauges" light came on and then i noticed the temp light was going up and down really fast depending on how fast i was going. Then i tried using the heat(which always worked) and i noticed i had absolutely no warm air coming out. instead it was cool air.

    anyone?

      Thermostat.

I had a similar problem back in December last year.
Basically, my thermostat had seized closed - thus preventing coolant flow around the engine.
