i have an automatic. I want to take off the shifter knob so i can fix the stuff around it, and possibly customize it. I heard there was some kind of pin somwhere i have to push it to get it off?.. i don't know what i'm looking for though, or where..
put it in first gear, look at the front of it on the radio side. there sill be a slot in the knob. in that slot is a huge staple. pull that out with a screwdriver or pliers. pull knob off.
