  • Lowering engine cradle?

Has anyone lowered the cradle? I did a quick search on cradle and I didnt see any talk on lowering it. If possible I would like to lower it 1.5" but Im guessing thats A LOT of drop and will be a lot of work. TIA

No thoughts? If I could successfully lower the cradle this much, I would be able to fit a fullsize intercooler with the m90 setup I want to run, rather than a shortstack.

There's not a lot of room under the pan to lower it ... if you want to do the M90, I'd just cut away some of the crap under your cowl ... 'Pontiac Performance' just did a write up on a bird that did the same thing a month ago or so ... try looking there. How do you plan on the TB issue ?? Custom ?? Good luck

Damn I was hoping to lower it but oh well. The short stack is a very tight fit but I guess it will have to work. I heard about it but I havent seen it. Can you post a link to the guy who did it in the Firebird, if available online?
