  • post fuel pump install question

ok, so i installed the Walbro last nite via the trap door.

I hooked a pressure gauge up to see if my problem of losing pressure while the being off was fixed and this is what i found:

After 4 hours, pressure drops from 42psi to 27psi

After 8 hours (when I woke up this morning to go to work) my pressure was at 0psi.

before the install, with the stock pump, my pressure would drop to zero within seconds.

Any ideas of why its still dropping? is that normal??

i'm pretty sure thats normal, i would say 4 hours to drop to 27 is pretty good, why do you think the pump primes itself when you turn the key before you start the car

I'ts just a door in the back of the trunk that gives you access to the pump. Instead of dropping the tank and all that work. ;)
