  • My car feel like it lost some power.

    Hi everyone.

I change the Oil to Royal Purple 10-30 and K&N Oil filter. I also changed the transmission fluids and clean the K&N air filter. Also change my spark plug to NGK Iridium and MSD 8.5 Super Conductor wire set. The thing is my car still feel like it doesn't have the power that it use to have before. My question is. If I change the Fuel Filter and the PCV Valve do I reestablish my lost hp back? If so how do you change the Fuel Filter and the PCV Valve?

    Thanks
    Raphael.

their both pretty simple. the filter is on the left side near the rear tire, disconnect the fuel lines and its literally just a swap in. gas will come out so have something to catch it in. for the pcv valve, as far as i know unscrew the bolts holding it down and it literally pops out. another simple swap out. the fuel filter might be causing some power loss but i would think your car would be runnin a little rough too

pcv is on top of the intake, right next to where it says "3800 Series II"

Thanks for the help gays. My car feels a lot better. The only thing I notice was this morning when I was driving to work the PCV valve cover was leaking oil. When I get out of work tonight I'll retighten the PCV cover some more and see what happens.

Gays? lol Such Disrespect after they helped you! LoL!
Loss of power could be soo many things, but we would need to know specific
symptoms first. Like SES codes, etc...
