  • egr problem

    lately ive been smelling a strong smell of exhaust gases and i popp the hood and were the egr connects to the crap stock manifolds i feel a load of air rushing out idk wat i should do because im not sure if this is makin the car run bad because its very shakey and the engine compartment is very loud like overtakes the exhaust sound and i have a magnaflow cat back

    try tightening it? unless its already tight.

      You can buy a gasket for the egr tube from chevy. You might have trouble trying to locate one at a parts store. They don't make one for the v6, so get the one for a z28. The z28 gasket had provisions for dual bolts where our v6 only has one, but you can trim off the the extra.

        ya, scrape the old gasket off with a razor blade
