Hey just to let you know, i'm a little upsert i bought a crane powermax 2030 from crane and guess what it will not work for our car liek they said. If you have a 3.4 there is no division for the cam sensor (stagen this means you are actually loosing power with this cam.) I called Crane cam after i had the engine apart and they said sorry bout ya i payes 1,000 dollers for this car to have this cam put in and found otu after it won;t work.

Humm, funny in that I picked up at least 2 tenths at the track after the install. Works perfectly fine in my car and the other 3.4 it was in.
And who's charging you $1000 to install a CAM? man, that's way too much.

I could be wrong, but I believe the stock crank is a more agressive profile than the 2030.
I'm still looking into whether the 3.4HO cam in the gmpp catalog is the same as stock.1978 Formula 461 in progress of being built
