ZZperformance makes certain pullies for our cars, but apparently the 3.8 is already underdriven so it doesn't yield that much gain. There has been a decent amount of talk about this before in this forum, just do a search and you should be able to find all the info you need.
        Old Car = 12.679 @ 106.5 on 150 dry shot.
        New Car = 2010 3.6l 304hp Camaro

          as stated above - zzp.
also consider an electric water pump if you are going the underdrive route. an electric pump may yield better gains than swapping out our already releativly
underdriven alternator pulley. (suggest not swapping out alternator pulley if going with electric pump.)

i used to run the zzp alternator and water pump pullies, and they worked great.

I gained 6rwhp from a ZZP 180* tstat and Water pump pulley.

Plus my car put on an extra 12,000 miles between those two dyno days.

Spending a bit too much money on womens lately to piss more money away on the car and get the alternator pulley and longer belt.

Run two was in second gear so it would redline. If you leave it in 3rd, it will hit the speed limiter before it redlines.

Here is back in July 2004's dyno sheet:

The only mods done since that dyno was the ZZP water pump pulley and drilled 180* Tstat, not to menton quite a few miles.

I spoke with the guys at ASP about making a custom one for the 3.8 and they said that the reason they haven't ventured into it is that the harmonic balancer as well as timing teeth are built into the pulley/balancer combination and it wasn't something they were interested in venturing into.
