throttle body bypass?

I'm looking for cheap mods to do and I stumbled across this one. A throttle body bypass and was wondering if it was a good idea or not? I have a 3.4 and I live in Wisconsin. I read that in the winter your throttle body could freeze and I read that in the summer your throttle body could overheat. I was wondering if anyone was done this and what the effects are?

i dunno if i'd do it in wisconsin, GM did it for guys like you

we dont get snow but once or twice a year here and the camaro doesnt go out when it does so we did it, but seeing as i drive all fords (dont have coolant in TB) i've only had a TB freeze once but it was snowing and i had no hood on that week, but it was fine after about 30 sec

ya if u live in cold climates u dont want to do that. GM did it to help with cold starts.

i did this to my honda and didint notice much diff but when i changed to synthetic oil better fireing plugs removed tail section of exhaust along with baffels in intake i was able to get the lil sohc non vetc auto honda to 120:) i might however do this to the marrow also where are the lines located?. i do agree though that it is bad for cold climates!

I've heard of this, but what do you guys think of it? I'm in FL, so it gets kinda hot up here, and not very cold. How much would I gain from it if I did it? How hard is it to do?

just unhook the two hoses and hook em together with a lil pice of copper tubing
