Ok...i took the car out about a week ago and noticed a strange noise whenever i turned left. My car makes kind of a vibrating/creaking noise only when i make a left turn. Going around most curves, the car doesnt make any noise. But, when i turn left...the noise is obvious. Since the noise only happens when i make a somewhat sharp left turn, I have a feeling that one of the tires may be rubbing against something...therefore causing the car to somewhat vibrate. The car is a 99 firebird and its only got around 31k miles on it. I,ve tried to locate where the noise is coming from...but it always seems to be different. Most of the time it sounds like its coming from the back of the car. Today, I looked under the car on both sides to see if the tires were rubbing against anything when they were turned to the left. From what I could see everything looked fine, but I couldn't get all the way under the car to see the whole tire. Does anyone have any idea what this noise could be... I really don't want to take it to a mechanic unless I have to. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The sound could be coming from many of sources. A worn Balljoint, tie rod end, control arm busings, worn endlinks (for the swaybar) etc.
What size tire(s) are you running?

im not sure of the exact size at the moment...but i believe all of the tires are still the stock size. I wont be able to check the exact size till i get home in 3 weeks. I still have stock shocks. So im also thinking these may be a problem.

Like hockyman said you have something is worn out maybe a Balljoint, tie rod end, control arm busings, worn endlinks (for the swaybar) etc. Most are easy fixes, but be sure to get an alliment as soon as your done.
