That's great to hear man. I hate these hard to diagnose problems, so after a lot of hard work (and money spent!) it's a relief to come to a solution. I wonder how many people eventually got rid of their cars thinking something was seriously wrong, only for it to be some simple but not overly obvious issue.
yup, my bro bought his 93 camaro off a guy who thought the transimission was bad cuz it always shook and pulsed at idle, transmissions are expensive to fix so he sold it cheap, turns out it just needed some new coil packs. he told the guy and he was mad as hell
I think that's definitely a coil- I have a 99 Camaro and that's the only problem I had with it...until now. That sounds like the exact same thing mine did when the coils went bad- I'd at least try it if you can't come up with something else; they're about $28 a piece. I made it to 152000- proud?
