Re: cheap way to more power

first off search this site, there are a ton of posts on upgrades and how to get lighter, go to the drag race section and look up the article on weight reduction.

Bolt ons are going to be the "cheapest" easiest way to get some noticable power. There are also things like shaving your lid and the free ram air mod. Check out the intake/exhaust section.

i've read where the ridges of dryer ducting will negate the effect
I'm sure its an upgrade if you dont have any other air induction mods, and if the ducts arent taped up closed
I've got a much better air induction system, but its not like i really need it until i have a major mod like a cam

lol sory i brought that other post up, not tryin to change the subject. but personally I think one of the most efficent ways to get power for decent money is re gear your rear. Deff. the most consistant as with nitrous its just a bust here and there and could hurt you motor if you dont watch it.....

Heh sorry 'bout my jealous defense of my intake setup...

Yeah, if you're looking for more power, go buy a catback exhaust ($300ish) and a whisper lid ($100ish). By then you should have a bit more knowledge and you'll have a better idea for what you want to do.
