    P1652 Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) output circuit

    what exactly does that mean? and how do i fix it?

    it means either you're VSS is dead or the wires running from it to the comp have a short in them.

        95 3.8L. it comes on and off. I did just install a manual fan switch over the weekend. i wonder if that could be causing it. Also the speedo is working and as far as i can tell is still accurate

        Although i have a worse problem: im getting 15 mpg and its falling. im driving more and more conservatively and my mileage is just getting worse. i got an oil change, fuel injector cleaner, cleaned out my air filter and it got worse. i changed my plugs last summer and i was gone all year so it barely got driven.
        My AC is messed up, it doesnt blow cold air and need to get it fixed but i dont even turn it on. could that still be messing it up?

          DTC P1652 Cooling Fan Relay 2 Control Circuit

          Dont think your car is liking the fan switch. did you wire it up properly or did you faulter from the write up?
