My Camaro????

So I'm kind of new and I didn't really know where to post this, but for the last couple of days my camaro has been acting kind of funny, sometimes when I take off from a stop pretty quickly my camaro kind of jolts a little and then takes off correctly , this only happens when I step on the gas hard, but when I gradually get the speed up it doesn't happen and yesterday the engine service light came up, anyone know why this might be happening?????

Oh Sorry, but does anyone know why this is happening. It kind of stalls when I floor it, and the engine light is on only sometimes.

Might be a misfire. Take it to advanced auto, they will scan it for free, and clear the code.

If its an automatic your tranny could be slipping on you... mine does that sometimes if i floor it from a stop and it does sometimes cause the SES to come on. But def get the code pulled and see what it is...

could also be a clogged cat, and make sure that the vacuum line coming out of your TB is hooked up correctly
