              Re: Hesitation when accelerating!

I was gonna say just these items: (water pump, crank bolt, harmonic balancer, timing cover, timing chain, cam bolt, few cam items..)

but then I realized the lifters will just fall through if you take out the cam.
Being literally inside the engine compartment wouldnt be fun.

I'm also having the same problem with my car. It is starting to get worse with every day. I also hear this hissing sound, which I believe is coming from the passenger side (but this could just be the sound coming through where I have my panel in the hatch area off on that side). I have an appointment with a mechanic that is a friend of my dad's, so I'll see what he says.

                  Re: Hesitation when accelerating!

My car was going the same thing, and after a while I couldnt go over 2500 RPM in ANY gear. It would buck terribly unless I had it pinned @ WOT. I decided to put a new clutch in it because it was getting about time (70k) and noticed the springs on the clutch disc were weak as hell. That damn sure fixed it up.
