  • A/C Works Doesnt Work, Worked For A Week

    Ok, i have a 97RS 3.8L and my a/c worked last summer...
Then all of sudden this summer is stopped. and it blew hot air. Then i decided to put in 2 cans of Freon and it worked great for like 6 or 7 days. NOW it blows mildly cold air but not enough to keep me cool. I know for fact my compressor work. so it doesnt blow hot like it used to but not cold enough to make it worth keepin it on.

ANY HELP on what this may be or how to fix it would be great. thanx guys

Sounds like you have a leak. You will need to have dye added to the system to help find the leak. Any local A/C shop should be able to fix you up.

eh, if its mildly cool then it shouldnt be the relay, more likely a leak, because its working somewhat, my ac just went out, and i dont really feel like tracing what it was, damn our cars are a pain in the ***
