#2 can i add it to the engine and fuel system at the same time or should i do one at a time?
#3 if i add it to the fuel system, how much fuel do i need?
#4 if i add it to my it to my car how many mile do i need to run before its safe to go on long drives? please spefic. fuel and engine.

i just dont' want to do this today and find out she isn't going to be safe to drive on saturday. i only drive the camaro about 12 miles a day.

heres the thing with sea foam....

first off there is a vac. port on the Throttle body (if you are looking at the engine bay) left side of your throttle body, that is where you add it, you un-plud the vac, put it off to the side, then funnel it down into the the port. It will cause your car to idle very hard, and spew white smoke all over the place...pour it ALL IN as soon as you get it all in it may die, which is a good thing, otherwise you need to hurry to turn it off, let it sit for 10-15 min, then start it back up again and drive it hard for 10-15 and cover the neighborhood in white smoke.

ok now to the heres the thing part. Sea Foam gunks up your spark plugs, a change is recommended right away after running it thru your system, so keep that in mind.

I have never added it to my fuel, but have to my crank case, for that I only used half a bottle.

.....I just realized I gaev you instruction for my angled TB from my 98, hmmmm....I dont know if the same would still apply

when i used it i waited for my car to get really low on gas, put a whole bottle in and then filled up, didnt run rough and didnt change my spark plugs, havent had any problems, i also just recently used the seafoam transmission flush on my trans, no problems with that eather

no no, the problem with the psrak plugs only occurs when you run it thru your TB.

Kristen, you got a more detailed pic of your TB?

Im kinda thinking you may have to go thru the manifold, possibly brake booster connection, that is gonna be a PIA , somehow pour it down there since it is like 3" from the fire wall, ehhh.

you dont hafta pour anything! that brake booster line is a REDICULOUS vacuum. what i did was pour the stuff in a bowl, and just let it suck it up. i had a friend put his foot on the gas to keep it from stalling. once i got low on the seafoam i just let the vacuum take as much as it wanted and it stalled right up. i didnt get a whole lotta smoke that way tho, so i dont know if thats good or bad. it says right on the bottle about how you're supposed to do it. iirc, its like 1/3-1/2 a bottle for a full tank o gas. i did crankcase, intake and fuel system and changed my plugs... it didnt gum them up really at all but i would still change them anyways. i think they even recommend it on the bottle too. good luck!

I hope you didnt pour it right into the front of the throttle body cause it would be a shame to coat your MAF in that stuff

Wow, surprised this isn't locked despite numerous other threads on seafoam....

                  For the record:
When I used 1/2 bottle of seafoam through brake booster, on next start up, cam sensor + ICM went.

They say you put it into the brake booster line, the line just pulls out. Ive used seafoam once, my .02 cents, its a waste of time and money.
