  • radiator cap

    change the rad. cap with a CST t-16v -16lbs from auto zone and when it reaches normal temp. it boils over and empty the reservoir tank , put back the old one (stant 231-16lbs ) and it's works ok, the only differnce is the CST is T-16v and the STANT is231 both 16lbs. the old one says vented , maybe that the diffence between the two

      sounds like a bad cap, take it back and get another one.

        i realy don't know , thats what the cap says all i know is i had to put the old one back to the radiator. so those number and letter mean something.

          i got a new cap just like the old one and it also says vented and notice the center cap is loose , compair it with the old one and it's loose too .(strant brand )
