roller rockers??

ok, so im not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to cars/car parts. i did a search and found nothing. ive been wondering lately, what exactly are roller rockers and what do they do?? thanks for putting up w/my "stupid" qeustion and thanks for your responses.

roller rockers have a little "roller" at the tip where it presses up against the valve.

it cuts friction, and is said to free HP's (not alot anyways)

they are the same as any other rocker, ecept for being steel at the tip, they have a little "roller" portion

the 3800has full roller rockers fromteh factory. Aftermarket will get you a different ratio.

WOW, my post was wrong, i was thinking of roller tip.

roller rockers acually have bearings, like in the second picture 3.4 posted.

my 3800 also didnt have roller rockers

ok, I lied/was wrong. it has roller trunnion, but not roller tips. It's ben a long weekend.
