The 4th gens have a problem with the weatherstripping on the top of the hatch. I have seen a recall for it before on a website. Just see if you can find anywhere where it looks like it could get in.

that may be it cause the stripping is getting eaten away!

so where do I buy new stripping... and that would get under the seat with no signs of running water?

Mine will drip just a little bit from the t-top seal. The leak is right there where that seam is. At the very top of the passenger window, a couple of inches forward from the back edge of the window.

I have seen it leak there when sitting in a drive through touchless car wash. It doesn't leak much. But I still end up with a wet floorboard sometimes, if there's been a long rain (like overnight). Its worse if the car is parked so that it's twisted just a little bit.
