LS1 injectors

Hey guys after my tune as I htink Ive said before my stock 20lbs injectors are almost at max. I bought a set of LS1 stock 26.4lb injectors off a guy who has a Camaro SS. He sold them to me for 60 bucks and they have 75k miles on them. Was that a good deal for those injectors or not.

First, stock are 22#

second, I got my GTP 36# injectors for $50 shipped.

60 bucks isn't bad, but you could have got the 36# for cheaper. They are always for sale for $50.

Duno bout them being 22lbs because HPtuners has mine as 20lbs.

I dont believe ya for lots of reasons.
Nobodys stock injector table is just "20" straight across the board.
I already know ours are 22 lbs
My table reads: "20.40,20.40,20.33,20.27,20.20,20.20,20.35,20.70,2 1.25,21.95,22.77"
You must be reading the wrong table.
Its the table named "Injector Flow Rate vs. KPA"
It adds more fuel as Manifold vacuum changes/increases.

edit: my bad, thought he bought the entire fuel rail for some reason

I dont even know if we can use v8 injectors? What would you do? JB Weld the extra 2 injectors closed or something??

Keep them as backups since only 6 are going in the car?

It's not like he bought the entire fuel rail.

Its not about believing man its jsut what it said under the Spec section on the tuner where it tells u what components are in the car.

all years except for 93-95 came with 22. 93-95 was 17
If you have HP T. then you have 22, no doubt

spec section? where is this spec section you speak of? I just go to my flow table on my stock bin and I see like 22.27 in my table

Guys, guys Im not trying to start an arguement so calm down. Im just telling you what I saw. It maybe a glitch or something, but this doenst change the fact of my original post. Will thise LS1 injectors work on my car?

Not trying to argue, just letting you know they are 22# and whoever else reads this thread so we don't mislead and confuse people any more than they already are with injectors. As for your original post about them working on your car, you never asked that, you simply asked if it was a good deal. You would have to compare the pin style setup on the injectors to see if they work. The 95-99 ( I think it was 99 when they ended) 3.8l injectors are one style whereas the 00+ are a different style pin on the injector wiring.

Yea ive heard that but I just wasnt sure if theyd work. If not then Ill sell them on LS1 tech.com

you've already been told by ben on that other message board that they are shorter length injectors.
I test it and see if the wires plug up and if it'll fit in the whole snuggly

Dont get hasty. I always post on multiple forums about certain subjects. Because I get more info that way cuz not all members are members of the othre forums.
