  • help!!!!!

    This it is bird of fire from the our v6 firebird site. I just got the Alternator Underdrive Pulley and i do not know how to get off the stock Alternator Pulley . If you can help that would be great.

    The only time I changed an altenator pulley I had the auto parts store do it for me as I do not have any air impact tools.

      Did you get it used? If its new it should have directions.

      You need something to hold the shaft steady while you loosen the nut. (man thats raunchy) Something like an allen wrench while you loosen the nut.

        I got it new from zzp and that is it no papers on it or any thing. If I put the stock pulley in a vice. Do you think a can get it off with a brekler bar? What auto part store will do the pulley change.
