You need WinRar to extract the files, and a good program to burn the ISOs. ;)

I got the winrar program..... the icon changed but it still will not allow me to download.

Try using an FTP program, such as WS_FTP or Cute FTP. His server only allows 1 connection per IP. If you try to use IE to download, it uses more than 1 connection at a time.

Correct...I do not allow more than 1 IP connection. Any cheap or free FTP program can connect you.

I downloaded all the files and CD2 and CD5 wont open.It says thay are corrupt.

i downloaded all of them too, and cd 4 is the one that won't open, so I'm downloading it again. Hope speedyv6 can keep the server up for about a whole day so I don't have to resume the download, I think that's what kills rar files and zip files.

Tip - Don't try the repair function of winrar to repair it, it takes several hours and doesn't work anyway, plus keeps your cpu at 100% usage level and increases the operating temp. My processor got hot enought that it set off the alarm at 130 degrees.

I'm also downloading CD2 again.I downloaded CD5 a few times and still the same thing.The CD5 file above is under 1 meg.Is that right?How big should it be?

CD5 some how got cutoff. It is now uploaded to the server again. I will be taking the server down for the weekend but hopefully by next week I will have uncapped by cable modem and be able to serve much faster.

alright, what do you do with the ISO file to read it?

Use a CD writing program to burn it to CD. You can use WinISO to extract the files if you want. I don't guarantee results this way though.

Be very aware that the cable co's can detect uncapped modems, and have a well-publicised record of giving the permanent boot to those caught. Google for "uncapped cable modem FBI" for the extreme end of this.

I'd get some free hosting space and let people download from there, rather than risking your connection for us greedy leeches..

Actually if you uncap your modem to a speed that some accounts can get your not likely to get caught. There is really only one instance of the FBI getting involved in uncapping, and that was some small time cable network. I have comcast and doubt they would even notice.

ok, i burnt the ISO of disc 5 on a cd using Roxio Easy Cd Creator 5, but it still won't let me open any files i can read.
