If you havea 3.8 you have a DIS already,
Distrubutorless Ignition System. IF you go to MSD, you'll experience better MPG (by 2 or so) and a 1-2 hp boost. Better if you're on the bottle or the boost. No biggie if not, i'd pass on the difficulty and cost.

Digital and Distributorless ignition are two different things. The only MSD box that you can run on your car is a DIS-4 box. MSD makes a digital DIS-2 box, but it's only for the 4 bangers.
