Get a 180* thermostat and a tuner. The tuner will be very handy if you decide on cam or rockers. If you lower your tire pressure and a tune on a 50-60* night, you should be borderline 14.9-15.1.
You will be surprised how much a tune can come in handy with no mods or a bunch of mods.
