anyone move their hvac controls?

Ive been thinkin about moving my hvac controls into my center console compartment.
Putting a panel where it used to be, to mount my navigation system, and build a cutout for the hvac controls to sit in, in the center console out of ABS.

i think i remember seeing someone relocate them before and mount the head unit down there and a lcd screen above that.

i havent taken it apart to look at it but i think there are vacuum lines and crap you have to extend, anyone do this? alot of work???

Did you try searching the appearance section? I have seen people move the HVAC controls to the glove box before.
