I was driing todya with my gf to the part store to get some bulbs. She turne don the AC and when i wnt to stop the car almost died. I then turned it off and there after when I hit the brake the car would almost stall nd the Voltmeter woudl jump. I got to the part store and when I went to park it did stall out. A guy at the auto paart store checked my belt and said the it flexes too much so that could be casusing it to skip and that my belt tensioner coud be bad as well. So know when I put on the brake the voltmeter will drop and bounce some and the car almost or will die out if I dont push the gas a bit. I was thining it could be the belt or tensioner or my alt.
I havent replaced the belt in liek 3 years or so. I replaced my fuel filer a couple of months ago. About a month ago I had to have my TPS system [new TB and tach module] repalced cuz it went bad then had to retune my MAF. The day after i picked up my car after fixing the TPS the TB leakd coolant all ove the engine bay including the alt. I fixed the leak with new TB gaskets and a spacer. I just put in new spark plugs , NGK iridiums. I think that sums it up so if anyone can be helpful , please do. Thanx!!!
