all my gauges work except for the temperature gauge, the needle looks like its almost under the 0. i called a dealer and they said like 450 for a new cluster but i dont wanna go that route. i did find out that my car was rolled back and so i was thinkin when they rolled it back they might have left the gauge disconnected. any suggestions?

Re: temperature gauge
Check your sensor on the block ... may be as simple as that being disconnected. $450. for a new cluster is insane ... find a used one off the 'for sale' sections.\'97 Firebird 3.8 ... 1/4 mile = 12.50 (minutes)

Re: temperature gauge
could be the sensor.... also, how long has it been doing that.... when ur runnin on reallllllly low coolant, or no coolant, it will stay that low... if its only been doing that for a short time and u havnt been driving long distances, it may be that. better to be safe than sorry.... now it u have been driving a lot, then ur engine would have seized by now from ur oil getting so hot and basicly turning to water..... but if u need a new cluster , they go to 20-50 on ebay... my gas gauge went out in my old 94 so i just bought a gauge off ebay. ended up apying like 30 bux or so.... my 2 cents...
