Hey eveyrone, first time post here. I own a 95 3.4L camaro which is getting up there in mileage and abuse. I saw this crate engine and was wondering if its the same engine sans intake? The cost to rebuild the engine with all new parts hits close to the price of this, unless I've been looking in the wrong places for parts.
everything looks to be pretty much the same except for the cam. the stock 3.4 cam = .263 intake lift and .273 exhaust lift. the one in the link has .427 intake and .454 exhuast lift. honestly id just rebuild what you got and do a 3400 head swap since its going to be torn down.
