There is a wierd humming sound when I'm in neutral stopped. And the Stick vibrates as well. Not real bad, but noticialble when you listen. When I press on the gas it goes away, then a second after I stop it cmes back. It does'nt sound like it's coming from the engine bay. What could it be?

Not sure what it is. It vibrates on the passenger side though. It's like something is rotating underthere. Dammit!!!! Hope I don't have to spend money repairing. That will leave me nothing to upgrade.K&N FIPK, Pacesetter Headers, Carsound Highflow Cat, 3\" Magnaflow catback, 180 Thermostat, 8.5 MSD Wires, NGK Plugs, Chrome ZR1 Rims

Hrm, doesn't the cat have a hanger off the trans? Or it might just be a heat shield coming loose.1994 Firebird 3.4
15.65 @ 86.8
funkz.net/firebird
Timeslips

I was actually thinking of a loose heat shield on the cat, but it could be your manifold shields too.1994 Firebird 3.4
15.65 @ 86.8
funkz.net/firebird
Timeslips

yeah.. sounds like it could be an exhaust problem to me.. i have a small rattling noise at idle too thats caused by the exhaust pipe vibrating off the cross member... i hit a raccoon and it bent the crossmember up a bit. in your case it could also very well be a heat shield. maybe crawl underneight there and see if the exhaust is touching anything first, then check it out when its making the noise and see if you can narrow it down a bit...Phill

95 camaro... need money for turbo project...
94 S10 Blazer - winter beater - infinity system to be installed soon

\"The man who says it cant be done should not interrupt the man doing it...\"

Theres no Heatshield over the cat. It's not evern a cat. The guy put a bullet muffler in it's place. I did the night b4 slam on the breaks cus I almost rear ended someone. So I slammed on it. I do almost hit the bottom when on the freeway when I hit a dip. Need new shocks too. I hate the bumpy ride.K&N FIPK, Pacesetter Headers, Carsound Highflow Cat, 3\" Magnaflow catback, 180 Thermostat, 8.5 MSD Wires, NGK Plugs, Chrome ZR1 Rims
