Its only on the 99+'s. Its located next to the peg at the bottom of the tach. I set mine off the other day and was like WTF? Anyone know anything about this light?

You sure it's not just one of those regular maintenance items? My mom's '99 Civic has an annoying indicator that turns red every 7500 miles which means "take this car to the honda dealership and get screwed out of a lot of money to do an oil change, tell you your brake calipers are shot and stick a key in the reset switch"

no there are two different lights. A service engine light and a service engine soon (SES) light. As for the difference, I have no idea.
I'm pretty sure its not a regular maintenance light. I've put 54k on my car and this was the first time I've set it off.
