I am going to upgrade my bulbs but i need to get the other screw out so the lamp will come out. I got the one off wit ha alen wrench, bu the other one is the same size expect there is a thing inside that is in the middle that prevents me from inserting the alan wrench.
Theres no way of changing the bulbs without takeing the lamps out so iam stuck.
You dont need to take out the bucket the screws your talking about are for the headlight alignment. To take out the head lights you have to work around some of the supports but it can be done from the top the turn sig. have to be done from the bottom, you have to take off the little black plastic mud guards on the bottom there shaped like triangles. And if you do get the screws out you will have to go to a shop and get your lights alinged. and the tool for that screw is a speacial tool, BMW invented that fastener, if you do want that tool you will have to get it from a delership, any new car delership. or your local snapon guy, but if you dont know how to alinge your head lights dont take it out. Oh yea the screw you cannt get out is not a allen it is a torqs.

can you just buy that torques screw remover? It would be small. you only have 2 take out those 2 screws and the 1 i can get out with allen. Iam not messing with the vertical or horizonal adjustemnt. This would be so much easyer then doing it from the bottum. I just put all my paneling back on and i dont want to take it back all off again.
Just drill a hole in the head of your allen wrench. Don't know how hard that would be but it might be a quick solution to the problem and you wouldn't mess up your allen wrench.
Sounds like you have a "security" torx head. Those are the only ones I've seen with that little tit in the middle of the hole. You have to get a set of "security bits" to fit it. They have the hole in them already.
They are probably the same as the ones on the maf sensor. But at least you can grab those with vise grips and twist them out...
All you have to do is get a flathead screwdriver and a hammer...dont bash it...it will come off with a couple of gentle to medium taps to knock that little nob off
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
