idk if its stock of aftermarketbut my 97RS has fully automatic headlights when its dark out. when its light out i can turn em on and off at my leisure..but as soooon as it gets dark and they automatically go on, i have NO WAY of turning them off(no that this is a huge problem, just a major inconvience knowing i dont have control over them)
please help
Look for a DRL mod tutorial to disable them. I was going to rig up a switch to turn the automation on/off, but ended up shorting the box out, and now they aren't automatic at all--- I like it better this way.
yeah i have that, im havnt looked but i think u can pull the fuse... i know theres a couple mods for it also.... u can also get ur e brake when the car is off... and pull it up just one click, the brakes wone be applied yet, but the contact on the switch at the bottom of the handle will touch ... ur light will not turn on automaticly when this is done.... car must be off when brake is applied....
There is a sensor that is right beside the red LED in the center of your
dash. All I did was pull the sensor out and jumper it with a piece of wire.
This leaves your DRL's on and gives you control of the headlights.
