        Re: sparkplugs

well, i installed new sparkplug wires (MSD) and i was going to put in some a/c delco ir. , but the car allready had em in there and there good for 100k miles so i just left em in there and they didnt look to bad either*dont think i would be able to change them anyways , they are insane* , anyways i got all the wires in which was an extreme pain , and so far i see no difference, just a waste of money and time i think , iam even thinking if maybe something is running wrong , i kinda hear this light clicking sound now, dunno... anyways seems like a waste...

          Re: sparkplugs

the clicking sound might be a spark plug wire off one of the coils, they click when their off. changed mine last weekend and it had the samething but i changed it.

yea no problem, i think the only way to actually notice a difference if you change the sparkplugs too but its up to you. i changed my plugs, wires and thermostat and my camaro runs totally better.

Well , ive shoved the hell out of the boots and put them on as tight as i could , and theres still a clicking sound, maybe if i pretend its not there it will go away? well anyways now it seems that my lights seem to fade in and out slightly while idle , and my battery needle jumps up and down a bit, what is up with that? any ideas

at night, turn off all of the lights and watch the engine in the dark. Look for a spark from one of the boots to the block.

two things... first, i hope you remembered to put di-electric grease in the connectors on each end of the wire... that might be the clicking. teh other thing is you cant expect that JUST replacing the wires is really gonna do that much. its SOOO much more than that. remember, its only as good as its weakest link. wires helped me a little, but you really need new coils and good plugs to really feel anything. once you get the msd box, then you're in good shape. its like exhaust... if you have 5" tips, it doesnt make up for the fact you have a 2 1/4" post cat. its kind of an all or nothing sorta thing to get the full effects.
