  • Blinker light on dashboard always on

when I turn on my lights and my dashboard lights come on, the turn signal light on the dashboard is on. it blinks opposite with the outside turn signal. It is very annoying and i dont know what to fix

check to make sure your hazards arent like halfway on. my old grandam used to do that sometimes. other than that it's an electrical fault somewhere...

The hazards arent halfway on. its only the left light that does it. the other one works fine

Check the bulbs to see if they are burnt out.

ok ok. i had to re-read what you wrote agian. if its blinking opposite the outside lights then some connection, probably inside the steering column, got switched. follow the wires and make sure all the wires are alright and try switching the wires.
for instance, this is your connections now:
to right turnsignal switch x______.........._________x to right turn signal light
          ..............................................\... ..../
          ................................................\. ../
          ................................................. X
          ................................................ /..\
to left turnsignal switch x _______ /......\_________x to left turn signal light

and this is what it SHOULD look like:
to right turnsignal switch x______________________x to right turn signal light

to left turnsignal switch x________________________x to left turn signal light

sorry about the periods, it looks messed up if they're not there...

Im not too great at explaining things, the inside turn signal light is always on and blinks when i turn the lever to the left. this happens when i turn on my headlights and the dashboard lights come on. the inside light on the dashboard blinks when the outside turn signal light doesnt. and the outside turnsignal light blinks when the inside dashboard light doesnt. its hard to explain but i am trying to put it into words everyone will understand.

change your bulbs, i had a similar problem with LEDs you wouldnt think that would be a possibility, but it is

the bulbs on my dash or the bulbs on the turn signals outside? because i just replaced the turn signals in order to pass inspection. it was like that before too so i dont think its the outside bulbs

its probably in the wiring or some control module then , maybe the previous owner tried to rewire something and failed misrably
