im replacing the o2 sensor in my car and the guy at advance said there was one before the cat and one after.. i found the one after but he said the one before the cat was the one that needed to be replaced.. but i cant find that one? me and my dad looked all in front of the cat and never saw one.. does anyone know where it is? or was the guy at advance wrong? thanks
i dont have a pre-cat o2 sensor. Many cars didnt come with one.
you dont even need the before and after cat o2 sensors.
All they do is tell you that your cat is working correctly and isnt clogged up.
It will not do anything to your Air-Fuel-Ratio
If you had the code, I could tell you which sensor it is.
Sounds to me like, if you dont have a before cat, then its probably the after cat. If it is the after cat then maybe the cat is not working properly?

he probably meant 0155, cuz mines throwing the code for bank 1 which is 0133 i just said oh well for now, spend the 60 bucks somewhere else, my light actually shut off this morning.. hasnt been on all day
