ok, heres the problem. i changed my clutch and rear main seal. also put on a energy suspesion tranny mount. after test drive car was shaking horribly and would shut down as i was slowing down. then i have added the 1/2 spacer(washers) to the tranny mount to even it out. shakes are gone, but the car will still shut down as i slow down. runs rough and feels like she is surging while i am driving at a steady speed.have checked the vac lines and cant find any loose, but the unit that is on the passenger side valve cover, that seems to be connected to the fuel rail, has what looks like a fuel line connected to the top, an electrical connecter on the side, and what looks to be a rubber elbow on the bottom, the kind that a vac line would be attached to, but no hose. i have felt around looking for a hose but cannot feel/find one. checked the PCM for trouble codes and found this PO102 - MAF or VAF A Circuit Low Input. could this be from the shaking? the hose that could be disconnected? really need to fix, need to be in new york for thanksgiving. any help with this would be GREATLY appreciated.

I'd say to take the car to a dealer and have them check the MAF sensor to see if it's bad. There IS a way to test it yourself, but I don't know how to do it.
Also, that thing on the passenger side of the engine (with the electrical connection), is probably your EVAP Purge Sensor. Mine doesn't have a hose connected on it either. It looks like an open vacuum line, but it isn't. I've inquired about it one time when my car was at the dealer getting serviced, and the guy said it was supposed to be like that.sigpic

On the top of your Throttle Body. Right as the air is coming from the filter into the engine is the Throttle Body. It's almost square in shape and must be handled VERY carefully when removing or spraying cleaner into the engine. It costs over $200 new at a dealer, but you could probably find one that is used for a much cheaper price.sigpic
