Whenever i start that car each morning the car makes a horrible grinding noise. However once i put it in drive and drive about 20 feet and put it back into park it stop grinding. Once i am going and slow down the grinding sound starts up again but as soon as i tap the gas it goes away. kinda sounds like the driveshaft is hitting something. I just had my trans mount replaced and a day later it started to grind.
Is it the drive shaft? or what can it be and what should i look for

Is it making the grinding noise when it's in Park? If so, disregard the U-Joints and check all of your fluids. Also, pop the hood and try to pinpoint the noise. It could be the alternator or something else. If it's coming from the bottom of the car, get yourself dirty and check it out.
Its deff underneath the car. It only grinds in park until u put it into drive then it wont. Only grinds when you slow down but wont when u come to a complete stop. sounds like something boucnes off the floor when u go over a bump

Same thing happend to me about a weekago, but would only happen when i would drive up my steep driveway. This happend right after i had all my seals and gaskets replaced. I took it back and he said he could not find anything loose. To make a long story short, theres a metal gaurd or something that is bolted on with four small bolts. its about in the middle of the car, it goes basicly from under the drivers seat to under the passanger seat, as i remeber atleast its about 6 inchs wide and about 2 feet long, and is black, i dont know what its supposed to do, but anyways it was rubbing up on my exhaust pipe. Maybe i hit something and bent it, i dont know. I took it off and grinded it down just a bit and reinstallled it, hasnt happend since.

Cool...so what did you do about it? Did you take it off and leave it off, bend it down, or grind it?
