Ok so upgrading to Bosch platinum sparks, and new wires didnt really do anything, I still use 350 per tank of gas which is equal to around 218 miles per tank in my 3.4L V6.. this is not good, i should be able to get more gas mileage... i drive it good too (shift before or at 3000RPM) and still nothing...
what else can i do to try and fix my bad gas mileage?? i should get at least 300 miles per tank!
traffic and city driving won't get you 300 miles...good highway gets me 350-400 and that is around 27-30 mpg...

Check too see if your air filter is dirty. That can really inhibit mileage.

Yup, traffic and city driving kill mileage. My girlfriend gets bad mileage in her '01 Mustang V6...about 230 from full to almost empty. I checked almost everything in her car and it was good...so it was her driving style and traffic. I told her a bunch of little things to try and it bumped her to 260 per tank.
I just got 320+ and added 12.2 gallons which came out to 26 mpg in my 96 A4. Mostly highway but some traffic and a couple short trips a week.
I get about 21 MPG with 50/50 City/Highway... I attribute that to the 3.73's though... I'm currently testing out a tank of 93 octane to see if there's any differance... I doubt it though... I filled it up with 14.75 Gallons of 93... $28.01  I really don't think I can justify that every week.

Keep in mind that high octane gas usually carries _less_ energy per gallon than regular gas. Octane boosters like MTBE and ethanol don't have the energy density gasoline does..
