I believe that it will work on the 3.4's too, but I'm not 100% sure. It definately won't work on the 3.8's though.

How was I a smartass at all? If I wanted to be a smartass I could've been a whole lot more rude.

The 3.8's don't have any kind of coolant bypass, they get the coolant internally. If you unbolt the 3.8 TB and pull it out a little bit, you'll see what I'm talking about. I't located right at the bottom of the TB. There really isn't anything out on the market to block the flow of hot coolant to them, so you basically have to devise something to block it and withstand the hot temps too. Some TB Spacer's have the passage blocked, but they are hard to find.

Can someone find a TB spacer, because that would be well worth the money for the 3.8

Says on their site that it's for 99+ F-Bodies.

I originally bought that spacer before they knew it was only for 99+. The gasket it came with is the exact one for 99+ 3.8s.

                        remove TB.

fill coolant cavity (in TB) with tick gob of RTV silicon.

                        allow to cure.

                        replace TB.

voila! no coolant enters the TB.

this is graymans 'gob of goo' TB coolant bypass mod. enjoy.

thats a gamble. if it doesnt cure completely or something just goes wrong anyways, the silicon will break apart and get stuck in your coolant passages causing overheating.
