Ok I need to change out my plugs and wires on my car with pacesetter headers. I just wanted to know if anyone had any tips for changing the plugs with the pacesetters on? I did a search but couldn't find anything. I have 90* boot taylor wires on and a couple of them seem burnt from touching the header. Should I go with the same wires and some some fire sleeve boot protectors or different wires? The fire sleeves are a bit expensive $54. Car is 2000 v6.

Re: spark plug change with pacesetter headers on
service should be easier than with normal manifolds. I would buy new wires since they have been burned and get some 45* boot wires and wiring them better. you dont really need any fire sleeve if you do this properly but it couldnt hurt if you want to cough up the extra dough.

Do you have a part number for 45* boot wires?www.fbodyelpaso.org A4 stock 3.42 and LSD not Y87,SLP cold air induction, whisper lid, k&n filter, flowmaster 80 series, hypertech, 160 powerstat thermostat, t/a front bumper, functional nostrils, pacesetter headers best et: 15.9 at about 4800ft

Any good brand would do. Taylor, MSD, or anything else. I don't race the car, it's just my daily driver.www.fbodyelpaso.org A4 stock 3.42 and LSD not Y87,SLP cold air induction, whisper lid, k&n filter, flowmaster 80 series, hypertech, 160 powerstat thermostat, t/a front bumper, functional nostrils, pacesetter headers best et: 15.9 at about 4800ft
