Your belt isnt going to whine unless its missaligned somewhere in which case youll start wearing out belts often.
i actually had never noticed the noise in my car, but when i was driving today, after reading this thread, i hear that a little bit too. And i just smiled. I'm sure there is nothign wrong, but it sure sounds cool!
belt isnt misaligned. i dont know what the noise is to tell you the truth, but like i stated before, i have never had a problem involving that noise. but i sure do love it. specially after a race with a car that is "faster" than a V6... they demand i pop the hood, and look for like 20 minutes for a hidden turbo/supercharger. very funny stuff. :D
Yup, my car has the supercharger whine as well. Usually only happens in one gear though, I forget which.

my car does that when i have it in 1st gear like its the transmission cuz it changed on high or low rpms...in nascar transmissions does that all the time so i thought it was the tranny when i noticed it the 1st time
