ok so my mom has a 95 3.4 bird it is just acting all funny i dont know if she about to go or not i posted about the high rmps not the car is like bogging out and shaking really really bad it almost feels like its going to die but it only does that on the street not on the high it work fine what could this be or is the car just about to go my mo is really upset cuz she loved that car she worked so hard to get it too so i want to be able to fix it for her thanks every one

Is the ses light one? or any other warning lights?

id have the icm checked and the coil packs checked. do a tune up on it, replace the egr valve and have the cat checked out.

being a obd1 car its a ***** sometimes to diagnose things. my 3.4 did some funny things over the years and never threw a code, as has my t/a. hell the opti spark was toast and the damn car still didnt throw a code.

edit: while youre at it, change out the 02 sensors and pcv valve.

yea give it a full tune up first. plugs, wires, pcv valve, fuel filter, oil, 02 sensors.

just did a plugs and wires last week and it wasnt doing that b4 could i have done somthing wrong

YES!! check the gaps on the plugs and the condition of them. you may have cracked one or something without knowing it. check all the plug wires and make sure they arent touching the exhaust manifolds. and make sure all the plug boots are on securely and they are all connected to the right coils. mistakes happen like that sometimes.

yea check the wires, make sure you didn't cross them or anything and that they are connected to the correct cylinders.

like i said, you could have partially cracked a plug or something. it might have just cracked the rest of the way. dunno.

get in there and start checking things bro.

or like bibber said, could be a wire on the manifold... hence the delayed symptoms

Check the alternator...may be on its way out..my cousins rpms on her explorer at idle would go crazy..unless u were at high mph

could also be bad plugs, coils or wires...get it all checked

yup it was a wire on the manifold i started up the car and sparks was shooting out the wire but i can seem to get away from the manifold any suggestion on how
