  • 250 RWHP on just bolt ons?

    is it possible to do. Can youll put in your suggestions and opinions. the only thing i dont want is any type of boost(nitro,sc,or tc)thanks [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img]

    what year car, trans? what do you consider bolt ons? we usually need a heads/cam package to hit 250+.
    1997 Camaro 15.3@91 with a 2.35 60ft-B&M Ripper, SLP Knob, SLP CAI, LT1 DS, EBC Pads. 1994 Camaro(Sadly Sold)-Hi flow cat, custom flowmaster american thunder cat back, KN FIPK, Accel wires, Plat plugs, 160 thermo, Fastchip, Pacesetters.

      cam
      pp heads and intake
      2.5 exhaust
      custom air intake
      3.72 gears
      trans go shift kit
      electric water pump
      rocker arms
      ls1 high flow fuel pump
      bigger injectors(not sure how much bigger?)
      what do you think?

            you could do it. speed density tuning, wideband tuning and removal of parasytic accessories on the motor

              i was thinking of leaving the a/c on. you know just good 250 straight. i probably leave nitro in beacuse it will be cheaper. all mods that i listed are still going in. ill just get the nitrous programmed to inject nitrous as the rpm gets higher. more rpm/more nitrous. i also plan to have msd ignition dis 4 box. what do you think?

                  well if u'r gonna get tuning then i hear you wont even need the dis 4.. tuning software you can get from DHP (digital horse power) or HP Tuners. check out the "tuning" section for details with that.

                  You can get a mail order tune from TSP for like what? 250 or something. or you can flat out purchas the software for 400 and change..

                  but with a cam and bigger injectors... my opinion would be that tuning would be your best bet for optimum gains with those mods

                    and easily doable with all that stuff mentioned. Stage 3 Heads/cam/intake from Abbotts racing along with exhaust air intake and tuning will get you 250
