Yeah, that damn light went off and I have really no idea what's up. My guess would be bad gas or something like that. The car runs fine and has never had problems (knock on wood). I went to Advanced auto parts and Sears and they told me they ddin't have ODB-II machines there for a quick scan. Can anyone help??? :(

Autozone will read the codes for you for free. Otherwise, I'm sure SOME auto shop around there. I took my car to the local one in my town of 600 people, and they read and cleared the codes for $10 for me.1997 Cayenne Red Metallic Camaro
3.8 V6 M5
SLP Cold Air Intake
Ceramic Coated Pacesetter Headers
Flowmaster American Thunder Catback
Full 3.42 & Disc Break Rear End Swap

Autozone, some will, some will not.
Just reset the PCM and it will clear the codes.(unless you have a REAL problem the code will come back).
Here is how 'ya do it:
Your PCM fuses are under the hood, driver side, or on the dash, driver side. Turn the ignition to the on position but not with the car running, pull the PCM BAT fuse first and then the PCM IGN fuse. Turn off the ignition and replace the two fuses. Then start the car and your PCM should be cleared and all codes cleared.

I guess I'm going to AutoZone, I've been everywhere in town. Some places charge $53 for the scan and $64 more if they have to go to a "flow chart" What a crock of ****. I think it maybe a bad 02 or something. The car seems to be okay. I tried disconnecting the battery for like 15 minutes and it didn't go away. :( fawk.Red 1999 Firebird M5
Whisper Lid,Borla Catback,K&N,Dual Friction Center Force Clutch,Hurst Shifter w/Lou\'s Short Stick,!FRA,Suncoast Ramair hood,160 Thermo,!maf,Chrome ZO6 Wheels, Painted Calipers, CIA Headers, Taylor Wires, NGK Spark Plugs, 3\" Catco, Jet Chip Stage II, BMR STB, LCA, PHR, SFC, Fan Switch, FTRA
Old Dyno Numbers: 183 RWHP, 217 RWTRQ
http://community.webshots.com/user/redsixer
