you hand tighten till snug, then about a 1/4 turn and you are good. Did you remember to smear some oil on the gasket before installing? Any car I've done was hand tigthen and hand remove.

Try NAPA,thats where I had to get one, autozone and advance both said dealer only but NAPA had it
