Problem with turning

When I turn my steering wheel left(moving or not) it makes a quiet sound. It doesn't really sound like a grinding.

Hmm I guess it could be described as a moan. I took it out again today and it wasn't nearly as bad as it was last night.

check your fluid level and condition. also check for leaks. you could just be low on fluid or have a leak that could be fixed pretty easily.
