    i have a 99 camaro, 5spd and y87 and my car has a 2-piece. how so? i thought all v6's had a 2 piece

and as for the original problem with the steering check you tie-rods as well. ive seen a car with brand new rotors and pads shake the steering wheel so hard when braking it was hard to hold onto the wheel but it was fine at slower speeds and while not braking. inner tie rods were bad. replaced them and it fixed it and drove straight with no vibration

Re: Do all firebird/camaros do this??

my car shook violently while braking... people thought the car was going to blow up or something. it shook mainly from like 65+, but then braking around 10mph, the car would sort of "lurch" if thats a word, and it pissed me off. i got some ebay special drilled/slotted rotors ($200 for all 4) and got some napa brake pads, and now it feels great.

it is either brakes, or alignment.

THANK YOU EVERYONE THAT HELPED ME...

I just got my car back from the shop, and the front rotors were warped and the brakes needed to be replaced, so I had it done, and now it performs great and there is no shaking at highway speeds when i brake :)

thanks for all the help again, i really appreciate it
