  • Throwing codes

So I drove through monsoon rain storm the other day and my car started misfiring. The codes are P0306 for cylinder 6 and P1820. What is P1820 and will it go away when the misfire code is fixed. Thanks for any help

    Re: Throwing codes

The water and misfires = ignition system. Our cars seem to be somewhat suseptable to that.

Check coils, Ignition Control Module (ICM) and spark plug wires.

DTC P1820 - Internal mode Switch Circuit A Low.

I have no idea what that concerns

But have no fear, as there are a couple of GM Techs that frequent this forum and hopefully they can shed some light on the subject.
